The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 陈健朗出场嗰刻我尖叫咗一声——MASSAM！！！虽然喺gl片嗑bg好似唔多好，但我真係对呢pair念念不忘。青年Sammy+青年Joyce+青年Thomas，就凭对《叹息桥》嘅喜爱，我可以钟意呢班演员好长时间。

场景和感情真的有点单调，但是雨里、水里、淋浴那几个镜头还是挺打动我的

基于女校心理延伸出的故事，香港似乎很少有这种题材的电影。导演在BE的结局中又留下了HE，中学时期付出的感情不是一场空。确实有很多美丽的镜头，不乏令人印象深刻的场景。但是情节的推进未免有些零碎和刻意，情感的表达也是用力过猛。谈善言遇到陈健朗的对手戏，让人突然好怀念《叹息桥》里年轻的Sammy and Thomas!

故事是个好故事吧，虽然很多操作不理解，但人终究是感性动物，做不到事事都逻辑严谨条理清晰，但这个电影叙事真的太差了！
