The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 对我来说，疫情背景真的能带来特别面还是太少了，除了无力善良，忙来忙去，解释了援助这个完整动作，更多的好像也就没了

不是只有胜利的战役才值得出现在影视作品中，疫情正在消磨这个世界的所有人，我们遭受的无力与痛苦都是真实存在的，都是值得记录的。

“当国民的健康得不到的时候，他们做了什么，从什么时候我们的生命变得不再平等”看这部片子前，刷到被小区居民驱赶的务工阿姨的新闻，现在的上海太让人失望了
当然本片也不是每个方面都做得优秀，最后Sarah和Tony的感情线就显得非常突兀，而一味地控诉也让我觉得说教意义太浓重。但作为当下为数不多的讲述新冠疫情的电影，这种在大事件中描写小人物的故事比流水账式的记录每一个大事件的更能让人共情。

电影还行。
比起宏大叙事的英雄主义，这样一部聚焦护工和她的病人们的小人物挣扎更让我动容。中间那段接近20分钟救助肯尼的长镜头，看得让人焦心又难过，那一盏盏忽明忽灭的感应灯像极了当下的心情。这个世上从来都没有什么英雄主义，我们不过就是在这样困厄的环境下奋力生存罢了。疫情真的是改变了一切，那个2019年无忧的夏天再也回不去了，也可能永远不会再有了吧
