During the US Civil War, Union POWs escape in a balloon and end up stranded on a South Pacific island, inhabited by giant plants and animals. In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 虽然是印度电影，却感觉像中国故事…很流畅，还不错
在国内刚刚知道什么是同妻形婚的时候，印度这个曾明确同性恋违法的国家拍出来这样一部电影。
连印度都能拍这种片儿了 以及 真是什么题材都能歌舞啊囧
其实我大概可以感受到是四星的电影，但不吃这一套就真的会减分。其实电影真的挺好，尤其是在印度的土壤上开出的彩虹花，很惊艳。
以前老是看的印度女性贫苦生活，社会分裂和疾苦，终于看到一部：现代社会，中产家庭，受过教育的男性和女性直面“违背”社会常规问题的选择和勇敢。这真是一部很好的电影，除了结婚生子这样的传统家庭观念束缚，两个家庭最终还是接受了子女“同性”身份的现实并给予了理解和祝福！真是满满的爱！结尾的Love is Love就真的情绪拉满！
很不错，至少很真诚，没有drama剧情，其中几个人物有一种呆萌的感觉，比如男主和男主他妈，不那么严肃却很温暖。那个女医生也确实是我们喜欢的类型
印度都拍出来了啊。。。。。能想象我全程都在替换成中国面孔代入在看是怎样一种感受吗。。。。没什么新花样，放在欧美就是套路了，但在东亚刻画得非常应景，每一个妥协都很现实。看完挺难受的。
也能被正常而又温暖地对待……
喜宴后遗症啊，一直担心男女主一时兴起产生出来个baby，还好还好，女主和女朋友真的有点配哎。印度能拍出这种片子来，真的蛮厉害的。
说实话有几个地方我都看哭了：苏米和女票说她想要孩子的那段描述，萨杜尔和家里人坦白自己是gay，最后的彩虹游行😢
3.5吧，玩得还是很早期的同志问题讨论，只是放在了印度这个宗教国家显得比较出挑。
比較起來，這部很理想，很純粹，像李安的敘事鏡頭下，就更真實深刻殘忍無奈，各種複雜情緒交織了。。
近期第二部印度片，葡萄真酸啊。女二日系脸和周围格格不入，感觉选角有私心。形婚内男女主关系转变在打电话那里拍得不错，结局也很符合喜剧定位，女主和女二手拉手跑过彩虹旗的镜头很美。最想吐槽的是你们的基/姬达怎么一碰一个准？

好甜！好甜！最后画面停留在五口之家的时候本人流下了最真诚的彩虹色泪水啊！
影片涉及了挺多在现实中要面对的问题，结局的走向表达了一种人人都能得偿所愿的期望。
印度已经可以排出这样接地气的LGBT电影了，话题之广，感情之起承转合，看出来是用心了。可能这样的场景目前只能出现在电影里。期待看到国内的类型电影，大家的生活可精彩着呢

当然 放歌跳舞 MV这种固定节目，说实话还是有些拉胯。坏的方面国内电影疯狂向宝莱坞靠拢
不知道有生之年能不能看到这种题材
