The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 有些可惜，虽然真实事件改编，但掺水明显多了。前半部分可能基于真实事件，紧张和氛围感都十足。后期逐渐拉胯，如果说部长之女满怀人道主义加的莫名其妙，更奇妙的就是劫匪人质其乐融融相爱相助，瓦解了所有前面塑造的紧张氛围。
一个地处非洲最南端之地，被活生生打造成了白人城，为了民族自由而斗。
自由的代价高昂，这部电影在冲突中走向共识，底层人民的握手言和却无法让上层满意，因为他们要的就是冲突来巩固他们的统治。内奸的戏份对于剧情来说有些许多余，但依照事实改编，可能也无可奈何。
曼德拉是南非黑人的英雄，不是南非的英雄。

这个片的nb之处在于，它展示了南非种族隔离的极端自我防卫机制，哪怕你是身居高位的白人，威胁了这个体制也得死。
