The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 不提美国人的韩国政治片，都是伪历史，都属自嗨型。像普京说的那样，国家只有主权国家和殖民地两种。而这种殖民地的政治片，在架空历史后，就像小孩的过家家，只会博“大人”一笑，跟《南山的部长们》同样幼稚可笑。1
韩国人真是敢拍啊，还有这么一段历史。前期老朴还有点人性，后期要靠选举真是不可能了
观感和布列塔尼的夏日一样轻盈。看到有人说“欲望本身并不是我们的理想所在，而是那轻盈自由的动作，是试图超越感知摆脱奴役的奋勇越近”，幽闭空间的隐喻和在日记里对母亲说激情让人不死这两个点蛮有意思。

2019年就听到这片消息，看来也是拍完积压了很久。演员是好演员，但跟近几年的政悚片放一块儿还是相形见绌。
拿政治题材来做友情主线，太掉档次了。
演得很好，但韩国的历史政治片都开始很模式化，以及充满理想主义的光环……
不幸是生活的一部分，生活是泪水填充的河谷。
