The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 看恐怖片的一天哈哈哈也好看 分数不该只这么低，看到评论很多说到亮度低很黑，可以投屏看 会好很多，多重人格鬼感觉只是个概念 代替了鬼片中厉害大鬼和仍有人性的小鬼，想到了倩女幽魂hhh 没有特别的不同，有些地方有点突兀 链接不是很顺畅，但整体观感挺好的
结局就那样嘛，看一群鬼在那里以为自己是人的角色扮演
又是双重人格的鬼我PTSD了要。。

剧情有点老套 恐怖片式的悬疑 其实你已经死了系列 小美的双重人格的形成基本只是一笔带过 对爸爸说了句在打我就弄死你结果自己就死了 很多的坑也没有填 结局感觉还会有续作 希望不会太监吧 整体还行 巫师真的是有点弱鸡 妹妹不知道是否会强一点
故事很俗套，不过确实符合商业片的感觉，算挺好看。尤其是最后建塔攻关阶段拍得真不错，你怎么不多整点啊？？？
为什么评分这么低呀？气氛有昆池岩的感觉，同时有恐怖游轮的悬疑感，是这两年值得推荐的一部恐怖片。
本来想给2星，最后，1星吧……故弄玄虚到最后我也没看明白，非要去送命？
故弄玄虚，全局就一把尖锥，这怎么能抓到鬼呢？
一座地标拔地而起，一场赌博贯穿几十年最终去完成；能感受到高成本投入之下，所创造的不可名状之美以及对所有将要克服的难题
评分偏低了，三条故事线还是很清晰的。就是一惊一乍完全不恐怖？
在工程奇迹面前，人类个体的那点情爱实在不值一提，何况纠葛接近狗血。与其浪费时间讲爱情故事，不如尊重一下其它设计，别轻浮地取笑一笔带过，讲讲其它投标方案的设计思想，它们不论贤愚也都反映了当时的思想风气，观念理想的碰撞、智力技巧的比拼，远比爱情宏大，离开爱情不会讲人生故事，导演们实在娘娘腔的矫情，我们等一部技术宅角度的伟大电影等得太久了，哪怕这电影制作扎实，也实在让人想手动差评。爱情是我们普通人没法创造伟大作品的寄托，对伟大作品创造者，爱情就是点缀，插曲。
跟之前看的《女高怪谈重启：母校》有异曲同工之烂，剪辑依然混乱，是不是韩国现在恐怖片都爱这样剪辑？除了有鬼之外，完全看不出来有什么亮点，看在有鬼的份上，给多一星...

算是正经的鬼片，时间重叠、鬼打墙、符咒、鬼门
多重叙事，真实与创作交织难分界限且时空交叉。抖擞精神紧跟剧情，终于在片尾字幕中悠悠睡去。
两条线不停交织，对付地缚灵，但是看得还是云里雾里的。
怎么说呢...恐怖性到位，就是太乱了这个剧情，给我整得云里来雾里去的 最后金叔还一命呜呼了...
小成本电影，从头到尾黑魆魆的。应该是父母离异了，父亲莫名其妙狠狠殴打女儿，女儿突然变脸说“你再多打我一下，我就杀了你！”父亲愕然之间推了一把失手女儿，弄死了有多重人格的女儿，害怕事情暴露于是把女儿砌在屋里一扇暗墙里。没想到女儿根本没死呢！于是怨气冲天！化为厉鬼操控这栋房子里活着的人，告诉他们只有杀死这里其他人，你才能活着离开这里……于是一次次惨剧发生了。“死去的人永远也离不开这扇门！”
