The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 整体色调比较灰暗，片中多次采用景深镜头，营造出压抑狭隘的氛围。或许是历史背景的缘故，看似简练的故事情节下有暗潮涌动的感觉。虽然故事性蛮好，但整体感受还是有点偏向沉闷了，罗伯特和妻子的床戏就不是很必要，这个人物一方面鼓励爱人去追寻自由，一方面冷处理与妻子的情感危机，人设有些不讨喜
危难中相爱。

和中南海之恋不同，这部电影设定确实是更倾向悬疑片，经常破案破得我都快忘了还有感情线，也许译为“风信子行动”更妥当。
能拍到这样也算不错了，毕竟是80年代的视角。前半段80分，后面30分钟60分！
总的来说算是很不错的影片，但后期剧情的节奏个人觉得有一点过快，如果能够再拍长一点就好了
